How to login to your CBS Student Email Account

Step 1: Open a web browser and go to https://login.microsoftonline.com. Type your CBS student email address and click "Next".
Your email address is usually Firstname.Lastname@my.cbshouston.edu. If your email address is different, please use the one sent to you by the CBS Student Onboarding team.
Step 2: Enter the one-time password sent to you by the CBS Student Onboarding team. Click "Sign in"

Step 3: Click "Next".
Step 4: You can set up an easy way to reset your password if you ever forget it. You can choose one method or both. We suggest using your phone number. Click the "Set it up now" link.
Step 5: Enter the information needed for the method you chose in Step 4. For example, you can select "United States" and enter your phone number. Then, click the button to get a text message (we recommend this) or a phone call.
Step 6: Here is an example where a text message was selected in Step 5.
Step 7: Type the verification code into the box and click "Verify."
Step 8: If you want to add another way to verify your account, you can do so now. Otherwise, click "Finish."
Step 9: If this is your own computer and you want to be asked for your login information less often, click "Yes." If you are using a computer that is not yours, click "No."
Step 10: You should now be logged into your CBS student Microsoft account. The menu on the left side gives you access to online apps like Word, Outlook, and others.

After you have set up your Microsoft account using the steps above, you can set up your mobile device. Click on the image that matches your phone's operating system.
